Ahavas Yisroel

  • The core of Judaism is to love and respect each other. We are all God’s children, and when we get along, He is happy and His presence dwells among us. When we are at odds with each other, His presence is expelled.

  • So how can we all get along? We must remember that we all come from the same source, and that there is a spark of God inside each and every one of us. When you meditate on this truth, you realize that it’s easy to love another because we are the same. We are all the sparks of One Flame, and if we can only dig deep enough, we can see past the surface disagreements and focus on what connects us. At that level, the native tongue of the soul is love.
